Read Books. Make Stuff. Build Community.
The Bus Stop is the physical location of the MakerBus. Part book store, part makerspace, part classroom, part community resource, the Bus Stop exists to enable us to try new things and to work with new groups of people in our community.
We are thrilled to share this space with Bread and Roses Books. This local, independent book store will help us bring this space to life, sharing our passion for creative thinking and community-driven inclusivity. During the day the Bus Stop will function as a book store. Drop on by, browse books, and maybe even enjoy an all-natural slushie from our donated slushie machine.
On June 4th, the Bus Stop is hosting its first idea jam in consultation with the community. Stay tuned for more details very soon. Check out the calendar and map below to learn more about where to find the Bus Stop and what we have planned for the future.
